Simple question, does this gear stick knob unscrew or pull off?
I just need to change the leather gater.

It just pulls. And pulls and pulls and pulls! It will be tough to get off but don't worry about using excess force as you can't really damage anything apart from yourself, so make sure your head is well away from the danger area as when it does come free you could well break your nose!
