Picked up my 1988 325i convertible and noticed that neither the front or rear fog lights worked and no lights appeared on the dash.
Just purchased a second hand switch and swapped it out and now have a green (front) and red/amber (rear) lights appearing on the dash and the rear fog light is now working however the fronts fogs are still not coming on??
What's my next course of action? I've checked the fuses and they look ok.
Could it be a relay?
Thanks

might sound daft but have you checked the bulbs?
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

follow the cables from the lights and make sure they are plugged into the loom (plug is behind the covers next to the rad on an M20). Next step would be to replace the relay.
