Hi there
I have a 1990 320i which has a cold idle issue
When you start it it is overfuelling and can easily flood - it then hunts for the first few minutes but once warm runs fine with no issues
It's had a new blue sensor and we've checked for air leaks but found no issues
Does anyone have experience of this and if so what should I be looking for next? I have heard sometimes issues like this are related to a corroded multiplug on the engine or dodgy AFM but really would appreciate any pointers before we start pulling it apart again.
Regards
Keith

could well be your idle control valve , needs cleaning .
next check tps is set correctly.
then the obvious plugs. leads and rotor arm and dizzy cap are good condition.

Just wondering if you got anywhere with this at all? What you describe is basically exactly the same issue I have on a '84 Baur 320i.I suspect it's an issue with my cold-start valve (air slide valve) ,which is very different to what you have on the later E30 though.
