I've just had a spare set of injectors tested with a view of replacing the set currently installed , the spray pattern is good but all 6 are leaking at low pressure .Would a refurbishment solve the problem ( I think not but I'd like it confirmed) ? Also are there other manufacturers injectors suitable for a M20 325, Bosch have a back order and were expecting a delivery last year but so far nothing has arrived. The tester recommended not to fit these due to the chance of fuel leaking into the bores and potentially damaging the engine and the set I have I believe are leaking as well so I'm getting a bit paranoid and would like this resolved as soon a possible .
Cheers

A refurbed injector should perform identically to a brand new one, and most are rebuilt successfully, although I expect there's the occasional reject.
I think there's a four pintle injector that is identical in fitment and flow to the B25 ones, but their flow pattern is optimised for 4 valve per cylinder heads, rather than the B25's 2 valve head.

The set currently installed were refurbished recently with new caps o rings etc. Any video clip I've watched shows the leak as being dribbling from within the body so what exactly is replaced when a refurb is carried out.to prevent this happening I understand its the cap , 2 x external o rings and internal filter so what is being bypassed to allow fuel to enter the inlet manifold ? In reference to your last sentence above , couldn't the pintle caps be replaced to allow use in the B25's 2 valve head .I've attached a link ,if you would be so kind to confirm whether these would be a suitable replacement
