Looking at new camshafts as mine is pitted and the head is off right now - if I apply the oem number from my vehicle (11311716138) I get a camshaft which says it's for a vehicle with a two or three way cat - mine doesn't have any cat at all - and the non cat ones appear to be for Saudi Arabia according to realoem.

Am I really supposed to have this one BMW OE-11 31 1 706 655

Anyone clued up on the difference?

thanks

So after some looking around I found these part numbers:

E30 320 Pre Cat 11 31 9 058 572

E30 320 With Cat 11 31 1 716 139

E30 323 with Cat 11 31 9 058 577

E30 325 Pre Cat 11 31 1 706 655

E30 325 With Cat 11 31 1 716 138

might help someone on here!

Hi Paul

In the same boat and looking for a new camshaft and rockers. When I checked the 11311716138 came up as the correct part. The other 706 655 showed unavaliable . I use BMSfans access to the parts cat?
Priced a new cam from BMW at 589+vat !! Is a OEM BM part really 6 times more that a Febi Bilstein? And worth it??

Cheers
