morning folks, looking for a bit of help.

recently i changed the timing belt, water pump, tensioner etc on my 2.7,
had a problem with the water pump gasket (torn it will putting the pump back in) & went through 2 gaskets (both from the main dealer) so had to use wynns black gasket maker,

put everything back together, left it 24hr's so the RTV could cure fully then the next day i used straight water to check for any leaks.

surprise surprise there was a drip coming from the bottom of the water pump, took it all back out to check but couldn't see any traces of where the drip was coming from,

so i scraped the sealant off, cleaned up both the mounting face on the pump & the block, applied the sealant again, put the pump back in, left it again for 24hr's & checked it yesterday,

when i checked it i put one hose on the pump & poured water down into the pump itself.
no drips/leaks, fantastic i thought leak cured, put everything back together, filled it with water to test again for leaks,

& guess what??? the drip/leak was back again!!!

anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?? i really don't fancy using the likes of K-seal but if it comes down to it i will do.

so. anyone have any ideas?? i really don't want to be taking it all apart again, but i'm at my wits end.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

it be leaking down the pump shaft, not from the gasket? I had that problem from two pattern pumps before fitting a BMW pump cured the problem <touching wood>
