Drivers side gaps on my chromie. Few mm's from where it needs to meet the roof line and shrinkage/movement on the gasket fold.

Any ideas before investigating new gaskets? Passenger side looks spot on.

Door card off and fiddle with the 3 alignment bolts and window stop to align the widow square to the door and the stopper to stop the window in the right place, if its a new roof its more taught the old one.

Have fun, I have done it a good few times ;o)))))

Also, use the WiKi it does help.

Looks like the window needs to be tilted forwards slightly to close the gaps.

Check your door cards while you are at it as they are basically made of paper/cardboard mache the tops can "roll" off the top of the door especially by the door pin and crack.

Funny how a mint car turns in to a lot of work lol, we have all been there........... grrrrrrrr

Also use loads of gummiphlege on the rubbers as I bet they haven't been touched in years and when the roof was replaced the old rubbers stayed on.

Very very true. Thats part of the reason I bought the thing in the first place. Aim to get a decent example and fettle away the (many) small jobs!

I have plenty of gummiphlege ready to roll, so will be tackling it all over the coming weeks.

Had a quick clean of the vinyl and trim work with that Aerospace 303 too and it seems to work a treat.

Aerospace 303 is used in the boating world to clean/condition the vinyl and they suffer a lot more from the sun then a car does.

Amazon and I think Halfords also stock it. Get the wipes for the dash as otherwise you'll be cleaning the stuff off the glass and use the spray for the door cards.

Or spray onto a cloth and wipe on.
