Hi all,

Any ideas what the noise is at 1:15 in the vid, most audible when the revs drop?

Most likely a failing water pump or alternator bearing, possibly also cambelt tensioner bearing or anything else within that rotating mass of gubbins on the front of the engine.

Try using a length of wooden dowel, broom handle or even hosepipe to probe the various areas, as a stethoscope held to your ear, to narrow down the specific area it's coming from...

Sounds like my water pump did as well.

Take the belt off, run the engine for 10 seconds - quiet?
