Hi all, I'm new here.
I'm working on a project and I wonder if someone can give some quick advice on transmissions. Plan is to use the S14 engine and 265 gearbox on an iX touring.
Could anyone confirm if the 265 can bolt up to the iX transfer box? I'm aware that there are things to overcome with the sump.
From my understanding, the 325iX has a standard 260 gearbox and it's the transfer box after it that's different?
So, does the 265 have a similar bolt pattern at that point? I know that at the engine end it's quite different.
I can't find drawings of the the end faces of the gearbox or transfer boxes.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!
