on my 318is. It was all working yesterday, went for a drive this morning and noticed the first time I tried to use the indicator.
Only the full beam function works, everything else is out (indicators, washer and wipers). The dash bulbs don't come on, and neither do you get the click click, click click sound.
The washer and indicator fuses are ok.
The hazards function fine, all bulbs function and activate the dash bulbs as usual.
What do I check next? Thanks.
Neither stalk working

the fact that it is both stalks , not the switches inside , looks like indicators go thru the hazard warning light switch , instrument cluster could be the issue. you need to get a wiring diagram and take things apart and chase all the colours of wires back . to fuses relays connectors or / and earths. try googling issue

Check all the earths I think would be the first thing to do. Any other odd symptoms?

Thanks. I did some more searching with various combinations of words here on the e30 zone and a fellow had a similar problem to me. Eventually he removed the K2 relay and it fixed it, it fixed it for me too. Brian advised that if this was indeed the fix then perhaps the cause was a delapated fuse box base. I'll investigate further...

Could be dirty contacts, get some contact cleaner to clean up the contacts or it could have been a "sticky" relay and removing and reinserting it "knocked" it in to action.
