Hey zone I've replaced my power steering belt with a contech one the only problem is it squeeks really badly when locking at slow speeds, I've tightened it is much as I can to the end of the adjuster but it's still abit loose is there something else I can do to tighten it further??

Have you checked the fluid?

Maybe the wrong size belt. If it's maxed out on adjustment. And a slight squeak on lock is normal as the pump is fully loaded with no where for the fluid to go.

did you compare the belt length with the original. as previous post said could be slightly bigger.

Might seam daft - try putting it on the other way round
I had a problem with an AC belt on another car after the original was put back on the wrong way round and it squealed. swapped it back and it was a lot better - wasnt a total fix - so just replaced in the end.
Alternative is to spray with a wee bit of silicone spray. lol
