Ok bit of a strange one so here goes

So today I noticed my parking brake light stays on when I release handbrake so checked the blue wire all the way back to clocks and get good signal so this is where it gets odd

If I remove the blue plug on back of clocks it starts working like it should then if I plug the blue plug back in just stays on ?????

Looked at cluster looks in good condition no cracks in board etc

Anyone got any ideas cos I’m lost ??

Handbrake warning light isn't only controlled by the handbrake - it's also controlled by the 'test' function that switches it (and others) on with the ignition, and off as soon as the engine is started.
This test function is controlled by the D+ output of the alternator, which enters the cluster on pin 16 of the blue plug.
Any other warning lamps misbehaving?
