Pot Hole Damaged my E30

Hi Zoners,

Had an unfortunate bump with a pot hole on my e30 cabby!

A rattling noise is coming from the rear, so I pulled over and took a look inside the hood Bay Area and noticed driver side rear top suspension bracket had popped up/out

Does anyone know if I should check for any other damage?

It will be going into a garage soon, should I consider a suspension upgrade? If so, any recommendations?

If the pothole has damaged your car to that extent, get some pics taken of the pot hole, with a measurement of its deepness, then submit a claim to the council.

If youre lucky, they will not have surveyed or checked the road regularly, or if they did and were aware of a pothole and didnt fix it, you will be able to claim back your repair costs from them.
