E30 M3 gear shift selector

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a length difference between the standard 316 shifter selector (The actual knob part from the selector leg into the cabin) and the e30 m3 selector length?

aim is a shorter throw

For a shorter throw you want the Z3 shifter. Can't remember which model is the best but think it's the 1.9.

Hi, yeah saw this on the wiki but have come across an m3 shifter so wondered if it was any shorter than the standard one, thanks
