Hello, Friends
I have buy used Cyl head and I think valve guide is still original from new but it is worn so I want to replace it.
I see at realoem that there are 3 size of outer diameter original (13,1mm), +1 (13.2mm) and +2 (13.3mm). Which one is should I use? (but now I have bought +2 (13.2mm).
If I use 13.2 mm should I reamer the hole so it will be bigger or I simply install/push it into the hole?
I'm afraid if the head will crack or the valve guide deformation if the size or procedure is not correct.
I want to send it to machine shop but still not sure they can do it.
Need advice
Markus
Sorry I can not reply in the same thread I Don't know why

Maybe this isn't what you want to hear but: why do you think the guides need changing?
I took my 885 head for skimming and testing after a gasket failure years ago. I was told that it was fine on the compression tester and just needed a light skim.
I asked them to change the valve guides because it was a good opportunity while it was off the car, and the machine shop said that it was simply an unnecessary expense.
I took their advice and left them alone, and that head has been running for over 10 years now, including the odd track day with the motor running up to the rev limitter. No issues at all.

These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....
