Any links to diagrams for door locking mechanisms. Door latch jammed in the locked position ( with the door open) - cant get the handle to release - taken lock out and moving fork for deadlock with no results. Real headscratcher - cant open passenger door with key or boot.
Started dismantling but fear i may be making things worse - anyone came across this before?

Yep,happened to me a few times-i fixed mine easily without taking anything apart.
You should find that part of the latch-pawl mech. has become displaced and sprung out into the v shaped channel that receives the striker on the b-pillar when you try to shut the door.
it just needs pushing back out of the way with a screwdriver.
