Hi
Just asking for some advice with my E30 I have got my car at the body shop to be repainted in another glorious coat of alpine white paint and, to get the dreaded rust removed from the rear arch and valance removed, I was wondering if there are any tips and tricks -
To help get the various trim on the body shell ?
Certain areas worth putting grease to stop rust on the inside of the body panels ?
Bolts and clips that are possibly worth changing as I've got the car down to a rolling shell with only the door glass in but no sunroof or front and rear glass and no headlining ?
Any advice would be much appreciated towards helping me get this car back together
Thanks

You may want to check out the Bodywork section of the Wiki:

I would advise the use of 'liquid' rust protection, e.g., Dinitrol, Waxoyl, etc. on any hidden rust-prone areas, e.g., inner arches, sills, chassis legs, etc. and proper (polyurethane?) undersealant as per original factory spec. on floorpans if it's not currently in good condition.
