I hope you're all enjoying the festive season fellas!

Quick one - I recently purchased a long range fuel tank and hoses, etc., but for some reason the breather hose (I've tried highlight in the pic) has been cut off. So - I either need to get a new filler neck (which I believe is NLA), or get someone to fabricate it up. Barry has asked if there's anyone I know who I could borrow the neck from to get the fabricator a template. I know it's a long shot, but is there anyone out there that has the neck I could get a courier to pick up and drop off (I'll pay all costs obviously) so it can be copied?

Or - does anyone have an unused one for sale?

Cheers,
Gus

I've only seen the M3 and Hartge additional tanks, I have both, but not sure if the filler necks are different as the only one I have is in my H35.

Which tank do you have ?

I have the standard long range tank - most E30 M3's and South African cars came with it. The filler neck is different to the standard single tank filler.

Those are very rare and pricey if you find one. They are NLA. Someone like PacerPete will have one. If you end up getting one made I'd be interested in one to match the M3 tank and cover I have.

Do you have pictures of the hartge tank. I bought a extra tank that i was told was alpina. But has no markings. Its like a fitted aluminium tank maybe 6 inches high and fits in the boot just behind the hole for the spare wheel. Ill add a picture later but just wondered if anyone had heared of this tank or of ots just a custom aluminium extra tank. Oh its just gravity feeds the original tank too. No pumps.

The Hartge tank, to the best of my knowledge is a stock BMW item, as is in my e30 333i.

Try Pacer or Mick, they maybe be able to help.

My H35 boot tank and spare tank are aluminium and has Hartge stamped on it. On that basis I would doubt it's a stock BMW item ?
