Hi,

I was wondering if anyone one would be able to give me help/information. I am thinking of putting a side draft exhaust on my E30. Is this something that can be bought or would I need to make it myself. I want it to go through the sill and not under the body so it doesn't reduce ground clearance.

Any info would be appreciated

Cheers

Sill is the main structural element of the bodyshell. Not advisable to cut large holes in it!

I have been thinking of doing this on my rally car too. I have my fuel tank in the boot so the original space under the floor is all open. My thoughts would be to use a large hole cuter then use a large piece of suitable tubing welded back into the sill to allow the exhaust to come through.
