My recently-bought 130k miles car has an LSD fitted.
I've changed the diff-oil,and the old stuff that came out,whilst it was a nice gold colour,also had tiny silver particles in it,so it looked for all the world like the oil had traces of silver paint in it.
The diff. runs quietly,so am i right in guessing this normal wear of the clutches rather than abnormal wear in the gears/bearings etc.?
