Water pump and thermostat reconmendations

Just getting the parts ready for cambelt change my 325i Cab and was wondering whats a decent water pump and thermostat stat make to go for. Are Febi parts any good as seem a good price. Cheers....

Febi are an OEM supplier to BMW, but the parts are rubber bushes, suspension links and that kind of thing. Didn't know they were into pumps and thermostats.

I bought a Febi pump here in Germany and fitted it a year ago when I did the cambelt. When the engine is hot it makes a god awful noise, so looking to change it, no idea what for, as the oem was Febi as far as I know.

Thats good to know maybe i will go for a different make then , are valeo water pumps any good...

I've no idea at all, here I have a wide choice from â‚¬23 up to â‚¬52 - then I can get an "OEM" one from a dealer here for â‚¬145
