e30 heated seats - removing elements

can anyone please advise on how to remove the heated seat elements from a seat and transfer them to another one? I am hoping this is a diy job...

It's a straight forward but time consuming job. Basically you need to unplug the elements from the loom under the seats, remove the seats, strip the fabric from the seat back and base and pull the elements out. Refitting is the reverse of removal.
