I know the hinged end of the bonnet can be raised or lowered with the rubber stops but can the other end also be adjusted?

Yes, the 2 side catches can be loosened and lowered or raised.

The hinged end also has vertical adjust on the sides of the mounting brackets - one bolt hole on each side is slotted.
