This may be a stupid question but I don't know.
Do the coupe doors from a pre-facelift fit on a facelift model?
Mine is a 1989 facelift but I can't find a replacement passenger side door other than a 1987 one which I don't know what it was removed from.
Any help would be appreciated

Yes, they should fit OK, though there may be minor trim and trim hole differences.

Ahh ideal. Hopefully that'll make it easier to find one.
Thank you for your help

Window winder mech. may be different, although '87 might well have the later design.
If the door you're considering is complete, check the colour of the glass tint. Standard tint was brown on pre facelift, and green on post, the shape of the glass is different between the early and later mechs, and just to complicate things even further, I've seen a couple of cars with the early mech. and green glass.
Good news is that your existing glass and mech can be fitted to a pre facelift door. I did it once, years ago, but can't remember if all the fixing holes were present, or I had to drill one or two.

I don't think there's glass in the door that I'm looking at so it sounds like I'm going to have to do as you've explained.
Thank you for your help. I'm glad it'll fit though
