Trying to change the water pump due to cooling issues.
Got the viscous coupling and pulley off OK, but trying to wind bolts into the two removal lugs, said lugs have parted company with the rest of the water pump.

Any suggestions as to how to remove the water pump now?

Thanks in advance

Try to rotate the pump in the block with big grips to free it up. If that fails, it's a matter of drilling/grinding/chipping the metal away until it comes loose.

With a block of wood, hammer and Stilsons it is out. It fought me all the way though.
Think I'll fit a new stat as well while the cooling system is drained down.
