  • my touring is beginning has rusted extremely badly down the seem in the wheel arch under the fuse box, what's the best way if there is one on repairing this?

Cut out the brown soft metal and mig weld in new. (Not stuck on top of rust, weld in a plate to fill the hole not a boiler patch) I know easier said then done due to location, dremmel may be easier and move wiring out the way as far as poss

Weld through primer is good for edges, zinc primer for the rest.

Seal up with a PU sealer after painting

Use a PU flexible underbody coating protection from 3m (like OE style)
