Are you able to open the boot or the drivers side door?
Try "wiggling" the key and do make sure you have the correct key as well.

There's a slot in the boot trim that allows you to reach the petrol flap solenoid, to allow you to operate it manually, but this won't be any help until you get into the boot.
Sadly, this sounds like another case of blocked sill drains flooding the locking ECU.
When it's flooded it tends to power the lock motors continuously, burning them out, and jamming them in the locked position.
The ECU is located inside the RH sill, immediately below the driver's side front speaker, so the first thing to do is see if you can get to this and examine it. Removing the driver's seat helps, if you can't get the door open.

What's the current state of things? Can you get inside the car through the doors? Or some other way? Can you get into the boot?
