I know this will get answered really quick, but I'm looking at going to a 325i touring from a coupe, so do they all have LSD's and do they all have the sport springs? And what should I particularly lookout for? ie if I went to look at a saloon I now know where to find the rust etc... what on a touring is a bitch to fix?
Cheers

325i touring came with the full M-technic suspension package, so yes, springs and shocks will be M-tech.
LSD was optional on the touring, but seems to be quite a popular added option on the 325i tourings, seen quite a few with them fitted.
Things to look out for are the usual E30 problems, tourings don't seem to suffer from rust as badly as saloons, only the tailgate seems to suffer badly from rust.
Only other unique things to look out for on a touring I suppose is neglected interiors/headlining etc where people have been using it as an ashcart etc.
Only thing I can think of that's a bit more work to do on a touring over a saloon is rear strut tops, access is a bit limited, and you have to take the boot covers out, but it's not really difficult job to do.

rear sub bushs qualify as a bitch job, check rear compartments in wells for water/rust/rot from bad seal.
