I need to replace the above as the bushes are old and knackered. For some reason the Bentley manual has no mention of the existence of an ARB in the rear suspension set up, (I guess the yanks liked their E30's wallowy).
I'm assuming that if I take the weight off the trailing arm by jacking up one side of the car I can simply unbolt the Droplink on that side and hammer them on and off....or do i need to take the weight off both sides and use axle stands, or do something else?
Has anyone done this?

Any work on ARBs needs to be done with both sides of the car off the ground, otherwise you'll be fighting the torsion in the bar. Use a lubricant that ceases to lubricate after a while, such as 50:50 washing up liquid and water.
