Hi my elec aerial has packed up, is the power fed from the white wire behind the stereo?

No, that's just the trigger wire from the stereo to let the aerial know its on and activate the circuit. The aerial itself is permanently live through Fuse 28 so check to see if that fuse is ok. Also check the earth wire for the aerial which may be suspect. The aerial mast may also be seized however.
