318i m10b18 rev limiter

Hi guys, my 318i m10b18 fuel injected have the revs limiter in 4500rpm, I'm not sure if that is normal or dont, I'm confused because wiki said that max horsepower is in 5800rpm and my car rev limiter is in 4500rpm, is that normal or there is some problem with the ecu or something like that? Thanks
