If you were gonna get some throttle bodies for a 2.5 M20, what size butterflies would you go for?

I've made mine 40mm, but I'm wondering if that's a bit on the large side so a plan's been hatched to make some castings with smaller bores.

Any thoughts chaps?

Cheers!

Sounds about the right size to me as you are turbo charged.

If it was N/A then i'd say around 35mm depending on the spec of the engine ?

Think the reverse might actually be true with FI and NA sizes: You can run smaller throttles/inlet cross sectional areas as the greater pressure differential across the inlet system at higher revs with the turbo negates the restriction.
