Hey all, i have a 318i and wanted to install a new stereo but someone has messed around with the loom before and it has a pirahna alarm system installed. I wanted to remove that as i have everything apart so i cut all the wires and removed it thinking it would not affect anything else but now my car will crank but not start. Isthad a small plug with 2 green wires soldered onto the aftermaket alarm that looked original was wondering if thats the reason. Please help!.

A green wire often needs joining for her to fire, the one usually intercepted by the OBC immobiliser.

Find the two pin plug with the green wires that you've removed, cut and solder the green wires so that they just form a loop connected to the two pins of the plug, and then plug it into the socket you removed it from behind the glovebox.
