Hello!
I have a question about fog installation kit.
I've recently bought front fog lights only and now I have to install them. I was wondering if it's possible to connect them without buying installation kit which I found for 50€, or is it possible to connect them on my own, like connecting some wires to my fog lights switch and to the battery? Does it work? And I'd like to hear some experienced thoughts - Is 50€ too much for that installation kit?
Thank you for understanding and answers. Cheers!

All wiring is present on E30s as standard. Plugs for the lights are taped to the loom at the front.
Apart from the lights, you will need a relay (exact type various with market), two fuses, a tell tale light for the instrument cluster, and a two button foglight switch to replace the single button existing one for the rear light.

Today, I received my "Installation kit".
I'm just wondering if anyone is familiar with these wires:
I don't know what are all these wires and jacks for, and it seems there is no jack that would fit the fog lights.
So, anyone familiar with what these jacks and wires are for?
Guess I got scammed

I've got the relay, fuses, lights and two-buttoned switch. It only bothers me where to connect all these stuff. I guess it turns out that it was unnecessary to buy these wires and jacks, right?Brianmoooore wrote:Brianmoooore wrote:All wiring is present on E30s as standard. Fuses: positions 29 and 30 in the fusebox. Both 7.5A
Tell tale light: into the marked position on the back of the instrument cluster.
Switch: In place of the existing single button one.
Plugs: Once you've found them, onto the back of the foglights.
