I have unknown age fuel pump in my cabby, so looking at fitting new. There's a lot of different makes and prices about, any recommendations or ones to avoid.

Happy Xmas All

I've got one of the generic eBay ones. It fits, and it works, but there's massive fuel surge with half a tank (63l) or less.

It'll be being replaced with a proper OEM part in the new year. Personally, I'd go with OEM and avoid the gamble.

E30 fuel pumps rarely fail terminally without giving plenty of notice, and it only takes five minutes to get at the pump, using just the cross head screwdriver in your tool kit, and a thump with the spark plug spanner will bring it back to life.
Get a spare pump if you like, but I wouldn't fit it until you have to.
