325 engine feed cable

Hopefully someone will know this.
I have fitted an m20b25 into my car and thought I had the complete engine loom.
I appear to not have the main battery cable that goes down to the starter, should that not be in the engine loom in the sheathing?
its the cable that goes from the main battery pole connector, is this in the loom or a separate cable?

Separate cable from the engine loom, and I wouldn't expect to receive one if I bought an engine loom.
You don't say what engine you removed from the car, but the battery cable from that should be usable.

Thanks for that. Think I have sussed it. The car originally was a a 318i but I have located a small battery inside the car. I have made some cables up today for it. Had it trying to start today. Just need to power the fuel pump up now as that's fitted in the boot with the alloy tank. Just had a bit of a brain fade with the main battery cable to the engine.
