Hi do i need to remove this to remove the injectors please if so how?

M20? No need to remove the intake manifold. Just unplug the injector loom and fuel lines, unbolt the fuel rail from the manifold and lift/wiggle the fuel rail free. You'll gain some space by removing the rocker cover. Don't forget to depressurise the fuel system first.

Take fuel pump fuse out and run the engine until it stops.
