good day to you all.

i have a 318I from 1985 (no kat)

ever since i bought it i've had the idea it smokes a lot, and i'm here to check if that's just me..

this was when it was semi-warm (almost 90 degrees):

sidenote: it was a pretty damp evening.
still this is not something i've ever seen coming out of a car.

i've tried pulling the plug from the enrichment injector, but that has no effect.

advice anyone?

If that's smoke (blue or black?) then there's something very wrong. If it's water vapour (white), then it's a characteristic of most 'quality' cars. E30 exhaust systems contain a lot of metal, which is difficult to get up to a sufficiently high enough temperature for the large quantities of water produced by combustion to be expelled from the back as invisible steam.

Moving a long way South would work, as would changing your exhaust for a very cheap aftermarket system, the sort that lasts about two years.
It's a symptom of quality and cold weather, but should clear when the exhaust gets fully warmed up.
I notice you're in the Netherlands - the home of quality LPG conversions. Most of my cars run on LPG, which makes the effect far worse. For the first couple of miles, I lay my own personal smoke screen.
