Hello Peeps,

Need your opinions, I have a rattly 6 at the mo, and called euro car parts, they can do me a Febi camshaft, and 12 Febi rockers for Ԛ£178.89 total price, have any of you had experience with these parts and are they worse quality from a BMW part?

Also how hard is it to change this yourself? I'm a competent DIY mechanic but wondered if this is better off going to a qulified mechanic, or is quite straightforward.

I have a Haynes manual but have heard Haynes manuals on E30's are alittle vague.

Any help appreciated,

Cheers!

It's a head off job, use the zone guide for stripping the head: http://www.e30zone.co.uk/modules.php?na ... lhead1.htm

I have a Febi camshaft in my 2.7 and it's fooked after 6k miles, 2 of the lobes are worn by more than 5mm. The 120k miles original camshaft that I have to replace it has no detectable wear whatsoever.

I rate Febi on most things but this cam is w@nk.

Cheers,
