Hi there quick question about the fan switch.

With the three pins on the temp switch I understand that there's a live input.
Then an 80 degree switched pin and an 88 degree switched pin.

Just wanted to ask if the 80 degree pin switches off as the 88 degree pin switches on, or if they both stay switched on.

I've wired my fan up at single speed and wondering if I should draw the two wires from the 80 and 88 degree pin into one so the fan will always be on at temperatures above 80 degrees.

At the moment I feel as though the fan is only on from 80 to 88 degrees and switches off at temperatures higher than this as I only have one wire coming off the 80 degree pin.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Ok thank you. So would it be ok to join the 80 and 88 wires together to make sure the fan is on at any temp above 80 degrees C?
