I have H&R arbs fitted to my 325i and due a combination of these and the wheels/tyres fitted (16" Hartge with 205/50 tyres), the tyres rub on the arb when on full lock. I am therefore looking at a way to limit the steering lock so it no longer rubs.

I have found this kit that is available from the states:

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3389 ... it/?pdk=BA

My plan is to fabricate some spacers that work in the same way as these, but am wondering why this kit is listed as only suitable for M3s? Is there any reason why this would not work on a non-M e30? And why does this kit have different spacers for the drivers and passengers sides?

Search 'demlotcrew' and have a look through his build thread. I'm sure he's got some stops that he made.

Couple of jubilee clips is the cheapskate solution.
