Whats't he best thing to use for mounting a touring rear spoiler? I've done some googling and a lot of people recommend 3m tape but I'm not sure I'd trust just tape to do the job. Any tips?

The 'tech 2 touring spoiler is located by some clips, but is held in place by three 150mm beads of Sikaflex 255 polyurethane sealant.
Don't have the instructions for the standard spoiler, but I expect they're similar.

Three 15mm beads? That's very specific! Cheers.

It's from one of the BMW dealer fitting guides that I have on a CD, that I emailed to be included in the wiki a couple of years ago. Sadly, a few went missing on the way, and the touring rear spoiler was one of those that did.
