Does a 316 have any torque to convert?!

Why u want switcable auto for a 1.6?
The bell housing will be different for a start

Yeah there won't be a lot to convert
but it should physically fit, just not sure if it will move the car. They all seem to be HP 22 gearboxes but i can't find much info on the converter's and i'm wondering what will happen if i just bolt it together
