Oil service light reset

Hi all
How do you reset the oil service/change light on the dash? I've done the wire trick to reset my service indicator light and got my green lights back
Car is a 92 325i touring if this makes any difference

IIRC you just have to hold the wires with ignition on for about 15 seconds, that does the oil/inspection reset too.
