Hi all, is there any way to adjust the door closer to the body of the car? The rear of the door seems to sit slightly proud of the body and I get a bit of wind noise. ..it's a 2 door if that makes any difference. ....the height of the door and the front edge look pretty good it's just the rear that sticks out.
Many thanks
Door adjustment

I think moving the striker plate/latch should do this. I remember it took me a few attempts to get the door to sit right as i was refitting these bits.
Rear door card/panel has to come out, and the torx screws can be access from 'inside' the b pillar.

Striker plate sits in oversize holes, and is clamped to the B pillar by a threaded plate inside the pillar. Nothing needs to be dismantled - just slacken the bolts that hold the striker plate.

Don't undo both torx completely as the plate will drop inside the B piller, not good.

Ah, yeah, my bad. I thought the bolts were accessed from within the pillar, not the other way around.Brianmoooore wrote:Nothing needs to be dismantled - just slacken the bolts that hold the striker plate.
