Wondering if someone can send me a good .bin file for a M42 engine. Will look out the ECU number later if its required... but from memory its a 175.
I've used a .bin file off TunerPro's website but it has loads of maps within it, 3-4 for fuel and also for ignition plus idle control and WOT maps which don't seem to do a lot, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
Having said that I have had the car running with it and had a little play around but its pretty rich but I cant find a map that makes a difference to how the engine runs when I adjust the fuel etc.
Just looking for a safe starting point as i don't want to bore wash my new engine or anything silly.
Plan is to add some throttle bodies I am working on but only once I've got an ECU system I understand and I can work with.
