I have an m20 b28 which until last week has been running a standard b25 ecu. It ran fine, pulled well and i meant to upgrade it at some point.
However it suddenly gave a jerk on a motorway and when i slowed down the idle was surging up to 2500 rpm.I have checked it out and it seems the ecu has gone faulty.I have refitted the b20 ecu and it runs fine and idles correctly. Now i need to carry out a permanent repair so i was wondering if anyone has any experience of the following.
1. a chip to fit my b20 ecu which is suitable for a 2.8
2. a company who can remap either a b25 or my b20 ecu to suit.
3. anyone who has a b25 ecu for sale.
hope someone can help.
cheers dave

Have you tried speedtouch chips he has a b28 variant since the pistons are moving more the spark needs to be timed slightly different so the whole explosion in the cylinder is used
