I've just recently replaced all four side brake pads , discs , brake bleed nipples , stripped down and cleaned callipers. fitted new flexible brake pipes, new master cylinder and bled the system , staring form the furthest to nearest to the master cylinder (3 times) the pedal was like a rock with 2 inch play (handbrake in the off position) and now with the engine running the pedal will drop down 3/4 length towards the floor. Not only frustrating but also possibly more money to spend .Any hints or advice please .
Ps all the old fluid appeared to have been removed with only new coming through each nipple.

My brakes were greatly improved by adjustment of the rod which transfers movement of the brake pedal to the master cylinder on the other side of the car. One end of the rod has a reverse thread, so rotating it alters its length.
