I need to order some new indicator bulbs but can't remember if the pins are opposite or off-set, can someone enlighten me? Thanks.

Offset pins are on the dual filament bulbs commonly used for combined tail and brake lights. The offset pins are intended to ensure that the brake light filament gets connected to the brake light circuit, and similarly for the tail light, but there's still plenty of muppets out there that somehow manage to fit them the wrong way around.
