Hi

Car is 1987 pre facelift 325i
Engine is post facelift DME 1.3 2.5L

I think i've got this right....but not 100% due to all the changes i've made since the strip down a couple of years ago

The engine loom i'm pretty sure is from a DME 1.3 M20B20

It looks like there are 2 large wires together which should go to the earth terminal on the drive side strut top.

There is a large black wire which come straight from the fuse box - pretty sure this connects to the Battery live

Then there is a shorter thick black wire, coming from the engine loom, the shape and size suggest it should also connect to the battery terminal but to the smaller wire from the battery, rather than the large connnection.

Is that right?

Thanks in advance.

The only wire i've not fitted yet is the large LIVE wire which goes from the battery terminal to the starter motor, it's currently not fitted.

Thanks again.

Looks exactly right compared to my 325i 1989 2.5 cabby - as you have them marked - except your battery tray is illegally clean!
